In 2010, the percentages of males and females who had made a quit attempt in the past year were not significantly different (51) (Figure 5.15).

Between 1999 and 2010, the percentages of males and females who had made an attempt were similar in all years with data, and there were no notable changes over time (Figure 5.16).
